Emergencies
Emergencies
In case of emergencies, please call reception or guest relations. Additionally, emergency telephones located on each floor automatically connect you to reception when activated.

Emergency Exits
Emergency exit staircases are located on each floor. Please review the "Emergency Instructions and Exit Map" located behind your door. You can reach the emergency exits on each floor by following the green directional signs.

Fire Extinguishers
Fire extinguishers, fire alarm buttons, and fire detectors are available in every area of the hotel. You can use the fire extinguisher for minor fires without endangering your own safety or the safety of others.

Fire Safety
On the day you check into your room, please review the "Emergency Instructions and Exit Map" located behind your door. Check the location of the nearest fire escape, fire alarm button, and fire extinguisher. If a fire breaks out in the hotel, the alarm system will automatically activate. If you hear the emergency exit alarm, do the following:
• First of all, stay calm and don't panic.
• Touch your room door, and if the door is NOT WARM, open it and exit the building using the nearest fire escape.
• Close the doors when you leave your room.
• If your door is warm, do not open your room door and stay in your room.
• Call the power plant and provide the information.
• Seal the bottom of your room door with a wet towel.
• Stay calm and wait for staff to arrive. If you cannot leave your room, your room is the safest place. If there is a fire or smoke in your room...
• If possible, call the switchboard or reception immediately and let them know your location.
• Close the doors when you leave your room.
• Warn the rooms adjacent to yours.
• Press the nearest fire alarm button.
• If you encounter smoke on your way out, crawl through.
• Exit the building using the nearest fire escape; do not use the elevator under any circumstances.
• If the fire is very small and you wish to intervene, a portable fire extinguisher is located inside the hose cabinet in the hallways.

Earthquake Safety
• Stay calm and don't panic.
• When you feel the earthquake, assume the fetal position and create a "life triangle." Lie down next to the nearest table or coffee table, not under it.
• Stay away from materials that could fall. Be careful of plaster and stucco coverings that could fall from ceilings and walls.
• Do not leave your hiding place until the shaking stops, and if possible, protect your head with your hand or a pillow.
• Stay away from windows and glass partitions. Keep curtains closed. During an earthquake, glass can shatter and fly meters away, and scattered objects can be very dangerous.
• If you are outdoors during an earthquake, stay away from buildings, trees, power poles and wires, and other signs.
• If you are in a wheelchair, do not attempt to get up. Move to a safe area and lock your wheels. Protect your head with your arms.
• After the shaking stops, check to see if you are injured. Check yourself first, then the people around you.
What to do after an earthquake
• Aftershocks may occur, be prepared.
• Do not smoke.
• Watch out for fires, falling plaster, nails, and glass.
• Wear long trousers, a long-sleeved shirt, gloves (if applicable), and sturdy, durable shoes. Depending on the season, bring a coat, jacket, etc.
• If you have any medications you take regularly, bring them with you.
• Leave your belongings in the room, grab your key, close the door, and go down the nearest fire/escape staircase to the assembly point.
• The escape plan is located behind your room door.
• Do not use the elevator.
• Protect your head with a pillow when exiting the building and leave the building as quickly as possible.
• Do not attempt to jump from balconies; most injuries occur while evacuating buildings after an earthquake.
• Follow the instructions given by the hotel's emergency services.
• The fire and emergency assembly point is the TENNIS COURTS located in the hotel grounds.
